Our days in Orlando - Univ Studio/Aquatica Seaworld
|
|
|
Nothing much to do in Orlando since this is our 5th time in Orlando. But of course the kids still want to check out the new rides in Island of Adventure/Universal Studio and also the new water theme park under Seaworld - Aquatica. We had fun !!!!

Dance Competition in Florida - StarPower

Areesya was in the StarPower Dance Competition in Florida from 6/30 till 7/2. We thus, took the opportunity to continue our vacation in Orlando - the target was 4th of July celebration at Universal Studio lagoon.

Finally the replacement cabinets are here !!! Progress this week

Great Indoor delivered replacement cabinets yesterday and today, our installer continue the installation of the cabinets again. of course, there are some other problems but very minor. End of the day, all the cabinets are installed. Tomorrow, molding will be installed for some cabinets, then some electrician work for underlight cabinets. My duty is to call Kim from Stone store to come over and measure for Granite countertop. Hopefully by the weekend, the countertop can be installed followed by installation of the backsplah. I miss cooking - cannot stand dining out anymore.

When we received our new cabinets 2 weeks ago, one of them was damaged due to shipping/handling. Our designer Craig placed another order for the cabinet and we have to wait another 3 weeks before we can continue the installation.
Our kitchen is in a big mess now. Sabar je lah...ingatkan renovate kitchen ni boleh siap within 3 to 4 weeks....I guess it will take more than 1.5 months.

Hi,
I have been busy for quite sometime. And so patience waiting for the kitchen renovation plan to be completed. Hubby ni accountant..so every detail items need to be compared with several suppliers. Lastly after meeting different vendors, designers etc. we finally opted to do our kitchen renovation through The Great indoors - The kitchen designer Craig Brown is pretty cool guy - he sort of understand my vision for the kitchen, the colors and elements that need to be incorporated.
However the cabinets installation - my husband asked the guy (Mr. Rudy R) that installed our staircase to do it in order to reduce some budgets. FYI, Rudy has done lots of kitchen cabinets installation for the Builders around the town.
Yesterday, we were told that all the cabinets, new appliances & others will be delivered on 12/29. Well we gonna have to use our 2 car garage to store all the stuff since the cabinets installation will begin in 1st. Week of January,2008.
Craig B will be around to advise Rudy on the installation.
Well..as for me, I just cannot wait this to be a reality.

Arrived KL on July 2nd
|

For the next 10 days, we will be staying in Renaissance, KL for our summer vacation.
Tomorrow we will go to Cherating for authentic taste of keropok lekor, sata, nasi dagang etc.
My sister planned for this trip.

Since our flight to Tokyo was delayed 4 hours, we missed our connection to Singapore.
When we arrived in Tokyo, everything was taken cared of by the Continental Agent. We spent a night in Hilton Hotel, Tokyo. We will fly ANA or Air Nippon Airways to Singapore and then catch our flight Singapore Airlines to KL. We should be arriving KL around 9.00 pm July 2nd. 2007.
